Frequently Asked Questions of Firstrate Temperature Sensor

(Summary description)1. Is the analog output of FST600-206 electronic temperature switch consistent with the temperature display value? Answer: The analog output is divided into voltage and current.       For 0-5V output, the signal has a value change of 5V. For products with a range of 150°C, the temperature display corresponds to the value = analog output value*150°C/5.       If the analog output value is 2.5V, then the actual display temperature value is 2.5*150/5=75℃, then the display pressure value corresponding to the temperature switch is 75℃.       For 4-20mA output, there is a 16mA value change in the signal interval. For temperature products with a range of 200°C, the temperature display value = (analog output value-4mA). *200°C/16 If the analog output value is 8mA, the corresponding display pressure value is (8-4)*200/16=50°C, when the measured output value of the product is 8mA, the corresponding pressure display value is 50°C. 2. How to determine the temperature measurement range of the temperature transmitter, and under what circumstances need to use isolated and non-isolated types? Answer: The temperature measurement range of the temperature transmitter and the use of isolated and non-isolated types are determined by the temperature resistance level that the electronic components can withstand. The selected components of our products are generally in the range of -40℃-125℃. If the ambient temperature of the product exceeds this value range when measuring the temperature, isolation measures are not taken, and the heat transfer of the medium will shorten the service life of the components and cause the sensor to malfunction. Therefore, for non-isolated products, the temperature measurement range needs to be controlled within this value range to avoid abnormal sensor operation.       If the transmitter circuit part is isolated from the temperature measurement medium, the temperature measurement range of the transmitter can be increased. At present, our company controls the temperature measurement range of -50℃-400℃ for isolated products. The ambient temperature of intrinsically safe and flameproof type is -40~+60℃, and the non-isolated temperature measurement range is -40~+60℃.   3. What are the requirements for the temperature measurement range and isolation length of isolated temperature products? Answer: The temperature measurement range is -50℃-+400℃, and the probe tube isolation length between threads is 20mm; The temperature measurement range is -50℃-+200℃, and the length of the probe tube isolation between threads is 50mm; The temperature measurement range is -50℃-+400℃, and the length of the probe tube isolation between threads is 100mm;   4. What are the methods of temperature measurement, and what are the differences in their principles? Answer: There are contact type and non-contact type;       Contact type: the temperature sensing element is in direct contact with the measured object to conduct heat conduction;       Non-contact type: The temperature sensing element does not directly contact with the measured object, but is transmitted through thermal radiation.
