(Summary description) Peng Hongbing, deputy director of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, recently revealed that the "Three-year Action Guide for the Smart Sensor Industry (2017-2019)" has been formally reviewed and approved by the Minister's Office. According to the plan, by 2019, my country's smart sensor industry will achieve significant breakthroughs, forming a larger industrial scale, a more complete industrial ecology, and a group of international advanced enterprises with strong innovation capabilities. In addition, the guidelines also establish four major tasks: one is to complement the shortcomings of design and manufacturing, and to promote the design and development of new smart sensors based on MEMS technology; the other is to develop in key areas such as consumer electronics, automotive electronics, industrial control, and health care. Demonstration of the application of smart sensors; the third is to build a smart sensor innovation center; the fourth is to promote the development of industrial agglomeration. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will promote the implementation of related work in the next step, including speeding up the construction of the smart sensor innovation center and increasing financial support. The smart sensor industry policy has pointed out the development direction of the industry. According to the industry, according to the guidelines, one can focus on the development of MEMS sensor technology and smart sensors, especially for key areas such as consumer electronics, automotive electronics, industrial control, and health care. The second is to focus on industrial clusters and leading companies.
