In demanding water quality monitoring environments, traditional turbidity sensors often face the challenge of probe fouling, leading to inaccurate data. Smart turbidity sensors, with revolutionary technological innovations, are now providing breakthrough solutions in this field.

The smart turbidity sensor adopts an advanced 90° scattering light measurement principle, using a precise optical system to detect the scattering effect of suspended particles in water. It achieves a high resolution of 0.1 NTU, meeting monitoring needs from drinking water to industrial wastewater.

Its core innovation lies in the patented ultrasonic self-cleaning system. While traditional sensors lose accuracy due to fouling, this sensor can automatically remove deposits on the probe surface through periodic high-frequency vibration. Field data show that even when operating continuously in wastewater with turbidity up to 4000 NTU, its measurement accuracy remains within ±1% FS, a leading level in the industry. This innovation not only eliminates the need for frequent manual maintenance but also ensures long-term data stability and reliability.

The sensor is built with a stainless steel housing and IP68 protection, capable of withstanding 0.4 MPa water pressure, fully adapting to harsh underwater environments. An integrated temperature sensor and auto-compensation algorithm guarantee measurement accuracy within the 0–50℃ range. Compared with traditional tungsten lamp sources, the LED technology it uses reduces power consumption and significantly lowers maintenance costs.

It supports both 4–20mA analog output and RS485 digital output, using the Modbus-RTU protocol, making it easy to integrate into automation systems. Users can select measurement ranges of 0–400 NTU or 0–4000 NTU, with multipoint calibration available for higher accuracy. The standard 5m signal cable can be customized, offering convenience for complex installation conditions.

From industrial wastewater treatment to urban drinking water monitoring, from aquaculture to public swimming pool management, this smart turbidity sensor has been widely applied across multiple sectors. Developed over three years with thousands of lab and field tests, it integrates advances in optics, materials, and industrial design. Its outstanding performance is not only reflected in precise data but also in the real operational value it delivers to users.
