Magnetostrictive Liquid-Temperature Integrated Sensor Meets Multi-Parameter Monitoring Needs
2025-08-26
The magnetostrictive liquid-temperature integrated sensor is an industrial-grade device that combines high-precision displacement and temperature measurement in a single unit, designed for continuous monitoring under complex working conditions. During measurement, the magnetic ring and measuring rod operate in a completely non-contact manner, avoiding wear and noise associated with traditional mechanical contact structures. This significantly extends service life, reduces maintenance costs, and ensures long-term stable operation without frequent calibration.

The sensor can simultaneously measure linear displacement and medium temperature, supporting a displacement range from 0–50 mm up to 2000 mm and a temperature range from -50°C to +120°C. It integrates a high-precision PT1000 temperature element with a resolution of 0.02°C, capable of detecting subtle temperature variations in real time. Built with imported waveguide wire material and a high-performance signal processing chip, it provides excellent linearity, high stability, with non-linearity as low as ±0.05% FS, and long-term stability within ±0.1% FS per year, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
The sensor’s structural design emphasizes durability and environmental adaptability. The measuring rod is made of 316 stainless steel, while the electronics housing uses 304 stainless steel, providing outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. With an overall protection rating above IP67, it can operate for long periods in harsh industrial environments. Its working temperature range covers -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for extreme climates and demanding conditions such as high temperature, humidity, oil, and dust. The sensor also features robust electrical protection, including overvoltage protection up to 33 VDC and reverse polarity protection down to -30 VDC. With operating current below 90 mA, it offers low power consumption and strong anti-interference capability.

In terms of signal output, the sensor supports multiple mainstream industrial formats, including analog voltage (0–5 VDC, 0–10 VDC), current output (4–20 mA), and digital communication interfaces (RS485, RS232). This ensures strong compatibility and easy integration into various control systems. The device adopts a 16-bit D/A conversion with fast response speed—when the stroke is less than 1000 mm, the minimum response time can reach 0.5 ms, meeting the needs of rapid feedback control systems.
The magnetostrictive liquid-temperature integrated sensor offers flexible installation, with options for direct cable or aviation connector interfaces, simplifying wiring and improving system stability. Various types of magnetic rings are available, including ring magnets, standard floats, and corrosion-resistant floats, making it adaptable to different media and installation conditions.

The sensor has been widely applied in metallurgy equipment, mining machinery, petrochemical industry, injection molding machines, rubber machinery, port equipment, and renewable energy such as wind power. As a core component of industrial automation systems, it provides reliable data support for equipment safety, process optimization, and energy management. Whether for new projects or upgrading existing systems, the magnetostrictive liquid-temperature integrated sensor is a trustworthy solution.
