Advantages of Integrated Ultrasonic Radar Flow Meter
2026-08-21
In scenarios such as urban water supply and drainage, industrial fluid transportation, and river outlet monitoring, traditional flow meters generally suffer from industry pain points including poor working condition adaptability, measured data deviation, susceptibility to interference from sediment and sundries, and unstable operation in harsh environments, failing to meet the refined and intelligent monitoring requirements of modern pipe networks. To solve the monitoring difficulties in various complex flow measurement scenarios, we have launched an integrated ultrasonic radar flow meter. Integrating multiple cutting-edge measurement technologies and adopting a dual-wave intelligent switching mode, it realizes accurate full-condition flow measurement for both full and partially filled pipes, providing an efficient and reliable integrated solution for water conservancy monitoring, industrial management and control, and urban pipe network operation and maintenance.
The integrated ultrasonic radar flow meter is an integrated intelligent flow measurement terminal that innovatively integrates multiple technologies including Doppler ultrasonic flow measurement, radar flow measurement, pressure liquid level detection and water immersion sensing, breaking the working condition limitations of single measuring equipment. Equipped with a core intelligent identification system, it can judge the real-time operating state of pipelines through water immersion sensors and automatically switch operating modes without manual intervention: the radar flow measurement + radar liquid level monitoring mode is activated for partially filled pipe working conditions; while for full pipe working conditions, it switches to the ultrasonic flow measurement + pressure liquid level monitoring mode. It accurately collects core monitoring data such as flow velocity, flow rate, water level and temperature, completely solving the problems of measurement failure and inaccurate data of traditional equipment in complex media and harsh environments.

Adopting a core dual-wave flow measurement architecture of radar and ultrasonic waves and matched with self-developed intelligent flow algorithms, the integrated ultrasonic radar flow meter is adaptable to various channel and pipe network structures, and dynamically calibrates flow values based on real-time water level data, leading the industry in measurement accuracy and stability. Featuring a fully electronic circuit design without mechanical moving parts and supporting 12~24V wide voltage power supply, it has core advantages of low power consumption, strong anti-interference capability and high reliability, enabling long-term stable operation in complex industrial and municipal scenarios. Meanwhile, the top-pipe installation method effectively avoids equipment faults caused by pipeline sedimentation and garbage blockage, greatly reducing failure probability and later operation and maintenance costs. It is compatible with various customized mounting brackets to meet the installation requirements of different sites.
In terms of hardware protection, the flow meter adopts an integrated sealed ABS shell with a high IP68 protection rating. It can be stably stored in a wide temperature range of -20℃ to 80℃ and operate continuously under working temperatures from 0℃ to 60℃. With excellent waterproof, dustproof and corrosion-resistant properties, it is suitable for harsh humid and dusty environments such as outdoor and underground pipe networks. The device is equipped with a standard Modbus-RTU communication protocol and transmits data stably through the RS485 interface, featuring strong compatibility and easy docking with various industrial monitoring platforms and IoT systems.
It boasts outstanding performance parameters with fully upgraded accuracy in velocity measurement, flow measurement and level measurement: the ultrasonic and radar velocity measurement covers a wide range, with a maximum radar velocity of ±20m/s; the dual-mode water level measurement combining pressure and radar adapts to both shallow and deep water level monitoring; the instantaneous and cumulative flow measurement has high resolution and low error, enabling accurate capture of tiny flow changes.
