Continuous precipitation and heavy rain are one of the important factors causing natural disasters such as mudslides. Effectively monitoring heavy rain and continuous precipitation and carrying out forecasting work are one of the important engineering measures to prevent debris flow disasters.
The stainless steel double tipping bucket rain gauge is a primary instrument for measuring precipitation, and its performance meets the requirements of the national standard GB/T11832-2002 "Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge". Adopting the national invention patent, a two-way flap is set above the measuring tipping bucket, which greatly shortens the switching time of the tipping bucket and reduces the measurement error of the instrument to a leading level of ≤±1%, and makes the performance of the instrument more stable.
The stainless steel double tipping bucket rain gauge is a high-sensitivity, high-precision precision rain gauge. The instrument must be cleaned, maintained and inspected regularly during use, otherwise the instrument may become inaccurate and fail. The tipping bucket tilt angle of this product has been adjusted and locked at the optimal tilt position when it leaves the factory. When installing the instrument, you only need to adjust the base level according to the requirements of this manual before it can be put into use. Do not adjust the tipping bucket tilt angle adjustment screw on site. The inner wall of the tipping bucket of the instrument has been treated with special hydrophilicity. During installation and cleaning of the instrument, do not touch or scratch the coating on the inner wall of the tipping bucket with your fingers.
