Where is the integrated wind speed and direction sensor suitable
2025-08-04

Firstrate FST200-205 wind speed and direction sensor utilizes imported bearings and electronic components to ensure accurate and stable wind speed and direction data collection. The sensor circuitry utilizes a Grade A PCB, ensuring stable electrical performance. Combined with an industrial-grade chip, it operates reliably even in harsh electromagnetic environments, effectively enhancing anti-interference capabilities. Operating temperatures range from -20°C to +50°C and humidity levels from 35% to 85% (non-condensing), it offers long-term, stable operation in a variety of natural conditions.

The integrated wind speed and direction sensor offers multiple output types, including 0-5VDC and 0-10VDC voltage outputs, 4-20mA current output, and RS485 (Modbus RTU) digital output, allowing for flexible configuration to suit different system environments. The power supply supports DC12-30V. For 0-10VDC output, a DC15-30V power supply is required. The device also features low power consumption, with maximum power consumption of no more than 300mW for the voltage and RS485 models, and no more than 500mW for the current model. This effectively reduces energy consumption and improves overall system efficiency.

In terms of measurement performance, the wind speed measurement range is 0-50m/s, with an accuracy of ±0.5m/s (below 5m/s) or ±3%FS (above 5m/s). Wind direction can be measured in 16 directions (0-360°) with a resolution of 22.5° and an accuracy of ±3°, clearly reflecting changing wind direction trends. It only requires a force 1 wind speed to start and exhibits excellent sensitivity, responding promptly to changes in wind speed and direction.
This product is widely used in construction machinery, including cranes, crawler cranes, gantry cranes, tower cranes, and other equipment. It monitors wind conditions on construction sites in real time, improving operational safety and management efficiency. It is also suitable for railways, ports, docks, power plants, meteorological facilities, cableways, environmental monitoring, greenhouses, aquaculture, air conditioning, energy-saving monitoring, agriculture, healthcare, clean spaces, and other locations. It continuously monitors and records wind speed and direction, providing reliable data support for the operation and management of related systems.
