【Product Description】
An infrared thermometer uses an infrared detector to measure infrared radiation energy andconvert it into an electrical signal. This signal is then converted to temperature according to thefundamental laws of radiation and displayed on a display. It primarily consists of an optical system, aphotodetector, a signal amplifier, and signal processing.
Infrared thermometers can be used to measure temperatures in areas with high or lowtemperatures, high voltages, and high-speed machinery. The operator does not need to be physicallyclose to these environments. They also offer fast response times and high sensitivity. Because theymeasure non-contact, the measurement process does not alter the temperature of the object beingmeasured, resulting in reliable results. Short-wave infrared thermometers provide more accuratetemperature trends than long-wave infrared thermometers and can mitigate the effects of changes inthe object's emissivity.
